Your Policies Aren’t Working, There’s Hunger and Anger – Bauchi Gov. Mohammed to Tinubu
The Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has slammed President Bola Tinubu for introducing policies that plunged the citizens of Nigeria into hardship.
President Tinubu’s administration has made a number of decisions including the removal of subsidy and floating of naira to compete with the United States dollar. All of the decisions have been linked to the pains Nigerians are bearing. He said he understood their pains.
Bala Mohammed, a former Federal Capital Territory minister under ex President Goodluck Jonathan, explained that Nigerians are unemployed, the educational system has collapsed and the policies of the federal government are not working.
“There is hunger and anger. We have to address our problems of development. Unemployment is everywhere, our educational system is not working, and the new policies of the federal government are not working.
“They have to understand that. It’s their problem; it’s their programme that has caused all these problems. On your behalf, I am telling Mr President (Bola) Tinubu to change his policies because it’s not working.”
