The Federal Capital Territory Command of Police has denied having knowledge or record of the missing millions of naira from the account of a self-styled human rights activist Martins Otse who is popularly known as VeryDarkMan.
On Friday, the “activist” posted on his Instagram page that some hacker had got access into his account to steal a sum of N160m leaving N20m in the account, which belong to his Nongovernmental Organizations (NGO).
A popular and influential hip-hop star DonJazzy donated a whooping sum of N100m for the NGO when he saw some activities of Mr. Otse.

However, the FCT command of police said that the case is not in the record of the police and that the matter has not been reported. The spokesperson of the command Josephine Adeh said that the command is not investigating the matter.
Josephine Adeh stated, “The FCT Police Command is not aware of any case involving VDM’s missing funds and is not conducting any investigation into it. The individual in question should be contacted to clarify where the matter was reported, as there is no record of such a case with the FCT Police Command.”
