We will totally destroy Israel if it attacks us – Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei
The president of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi has threatened to totally destroy israel if it dares to attack Iran in its territory.
Raisi, whose country has vowed to obliterate Israel, talked as tensions continue to build up in the Middle East following exchange of attacks and fire between his country, Iran and arch foe Israel.
On April 1, Israel launched an attack on the Iranian consulate in Syrian capital Damascus. The attack claimed the lives of top officers of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard including General Mohammed Reza Zahedi. Iran retaliated by launching hundreds of drones and cruise missiles on Israel. Most of them were shot down.
Israel also retaliated by launching drones on an Iranian nuclear site in Isfahan in the republic. The Islamic regime played it down.
Raisi was in Pakistani city of Lahore when he talked about the Iran’s support for the Palestinians and Hamas. Iran heads and coordinates the Axis of Resistance whose members also include Lebanese Hezbollah and Yemeni Houthis.
He vowed that his country would totally destroy Israel of it continues its bellicosity towards Iran.
“The Islamic Republic will honourably continue to support the Palestinian resistance,” Raisi added in the speech in Lahore.
