Tinubu’s Government Takes Another Action to Tackle Hunger
The administration of President Bola Tinubu has taken yet another step towards tackling the issue of hunger, which has become more pronounced since he took over the affairs of the country.
The government has ordered distribution of 20 trucks of rice to each of the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory immediately. The citizens desperately in need are to be targeted.
The minister of information and national orientation Mohammed Idris released the information after the weekly Federal Executive Council on Monday.
According to the minister, the most vulnerable groups are to catered for. He emphasized that the administration of President Tinubu is working to ensure that every citizen has access to food.
This will not be the first time the government will release food to tackle hunger and inflation. However, things are getting worse by the day as The government seems bereft of ideas to push the country out of the woods.
