A former Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal has explained that the administration of President Bola Tinubu lacks direction and can’t successfully lead Nigeria.
The former Speaker of the House of Representatives also lampooned the members of the Peoples Democratic Party who are defecting to the ruling All Progressives Congress. He said that those who dump the PDP do so for their own interest.

Mr. Tambuwal at a time dumped the PDP along with Atiku Abubakar, Bukola Saraki and Rotimi Amaechi for the newly established APC. He ended up returning to the PDP.
“People leave the party for different reasons, but what I have observed is that defections are not in the interest of the people but are based on stomach infrastructure,” Tambuwal said.
“If you are a politician with conscience, with the current policies being driven by the APC and the economic hardship across the country, there is nothing attractive about joining the party except for personal survival.”
“It is for those of us who believe in this country and in serving the people to come together and find a way to ease out this administration that lacks focus, direction, and compassion by 2027,” he added.
