The finance minister Wale Edun has expressed optimism about the visit of President Bola Tinubu to France. The president has been warmly received by his French colleague and “friend” Emmanuel Macron.
Speaking at one of the events organized for the visitor and entourage, Mr Wale Edun said that the visit would massively boost the economy of the West African country as the two sides are meeting and having discussions.
He added that there is commitment from the two sides on agriculture, solid minerals, and finance sector.
“Essentially, in a wide range discussions which included a number of ministers from both sides and both countries’ leaders, there is commitment from both sides to engage in agriculture, in development of initiatives to improve food security.
“In area of solid minerals, MoU was signed between the two minerals in charge of solid minerals, likewise in the finance sector,” Edun said.
