Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has raised an alarm and called on President Bola Tinubu as well as members of the public to stop the All Progressives Congress and former governor Adegboyega Oyetola from fomenting violence in the state.
A Court of Appeal in Akure, Ondo State, had ruled on the local government council in Osun State. The court declared that the ex chairmen of the councils were illegally removed though the court didn’t order their reinstatement. Osun State plans to conduct a local government election next Saturday.

The judgement of the court has caused confusion with the All Progressives Congress saying that there is no need for the election. Online Parrot News had reported that armed police officers have taken over Ayedaade Local Government Area secretariat in Gbongan.
In a tweet to raise alarm, Adeleke alleged Oyetola, his predecessor of issuing illegal directives to the security personnel just because he is a nephew to Tinubu.
“I, however, regret to inform Mr. President and the public that Mr Gboyega Oyetola has concluded an arrangement to cause mayhem in Osun state starting from Monday. He is issuing illegal directives to security operatives to enforce illegality simply because he is the nephew of Mr. President. I chose to alert the nation before my people are killed or maimed by a minister dropping the name of Mr. President in connivance with the Osun state security operatives obeying unlawful orders. – Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke.”
