The Nigerian Super Eagles would take a sum of N50m if they win their 4th AFCON in Cameroon this year. The chairman and chief executive officer of Air Peace, Allen Onyema has promised the Super Eagles.
The Nigerian squad opened their campaign yesterday when they faced the Pharaoh of Egypt. The team made the country proud with a dominating performance from them.
Kelechi Iheanacho’s goal was enough to make the maximum three points in their first group match. The Super Eagles dominated the whole match and they were fantastic both in the defence and attack.
Apart from the reward that CAF would present for winning the trophy, the Air Peace boss, Onyema has given his words to give the whooping sum of money to the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
He also said that they would get ten million naira for the lone goal against the Pharaoh of Egypt. The money would be shared by the players.
The Nigerian side would face Sudan in their next match in the ongoing 33rd African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
