Islamic Group, Hamas, Kills more than 100 citizens of Israel as Netayahu vows retaliation
The aggressive Islamic group, Hamas, which operates from enclaved Gaza Strip, has launched serious attacks using guns and rockets on Israeli citizens killing 100 and injuring several more.
The insurgents, who are fighting to reclaim Jerusalem and occupied West Bank from Israel coordinated the attacks and carried them out early in the morning on Saturday.
They entered residential areas and buildings and killed as many civilians as they could find. Thousands of Israeli rushed to the bomb shelter when the siren sounded even to far away Tel Aviv, Israeli administrative headquarters.
Countries of the world including the United States, the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia have called for cessation of fire. The United States Department of State specifically condemned the unprovoked attacks on civilians.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed that Israel would retaliate the attacks. The Israeli Defence Force (IDF) have been rooting out what it calls terrorism among Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
