Russian Putin may surrender finally sooner than later

1

Russian Putin may surrender eventually with the way the events have turned. The Russian president, Vladimir Putin, declared war on neighboring Ukraine after a televised speech.

The Russian leader might not have considered the possible world responses. He took the step and he may need to eventually withdraw from Ukraine.

Actually, the Ukrainian side has suffered lots of damage, but Russian forces may leave sooner than later. Even the events are rapidly turning against the former KGB officer, Putin.

The West is apparently united in its responses. It is true that the West has not joined Ukraine to fight Russia. But the West has clearly and specifically condemned Russia and Vladimir Putin.

China was close to Russia at the start of the crisis. Perhaps Beijing believed that the West would not be unanimous and specific. Later China started withdrawing from Russia’s side.

The FIFA and the UEFA have also been decisive in their decisions. They have placed Russian national football teams and clubs under suspension.

The football governing bodies frown at Putin’s “special military operation” in Ukraine.

Russia has also been removed from SWIFT. The platform enables countries of the world to carry out trades. With the removal, Russia won’t be able to generate revenue internationally.

Vladimir Putin must have seen that Ukraine is giving up. His thoughts might be to intimidate Kyiv; and achieve his goals. He wants Ukraine’s neutrality.

But Ukrainian President Zelensky has made several appeals to the Russian soldiers. He has begged them to drop their weapons and embrace amnesty. He has even offered them some money.

There is pressure at home that Putin should stop the war. Thousands have stormed the streets to oppose the war. And the United States is targeting Russian billionaires now.

POTUS Joe Biden has said that there would be sanctions on Russian billionaires. That could force them to mount more pressure on the adamant Russian president Vladimir Putin.

All the sanctions and Western may be the reason why Russian Putin may surrender eventually.
