Please, Give Me More Time & Have Faith In Me – Tinubu
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has once again begged Nigerians to give him more time as he’s working on fixing the problems of the country. He has just spent one of his four years. However, he is under serious criticism from across the country.
He has even lost the cooperation of the state governors who have accused his government of being insincere with claims of giving funds and truckloads of rice to the state government.
After his Sunday’s address to the citizens of the country, Tinubu again appealed for calm and said that the pains the people are passing through are just temporary.
He partly said: “Fellow Nigerians, this period may be hard for us and there is no doubt that it is tough on us. But I urge you all to look beyond the present temporary pains and aim at the higher picture. All our good and helpful plans are in the works, and more importantly, I know that they will work.
“Sadly, there was an unavoidable lag between subsidy removal and these plans coming fully online. However, we are swiftly closing the time gap.
“I plead with you, please have faith in our ability to deliver and in our concern for your well-being. We will get out of this turbulence, and due to the measures we have taken, Nigeria will be better equipped and able to take advantage of the future that awaits her.”
