Amidst the bombardment of Gaza Strip, Palestinians in the enclave are leaving the city. Benjamin Netanyahu has given them 24 hours to evacuate as his country plans more serious attacks.
Tens of thousands of people are protesting against the Israeli attacks on Gaza Strip. The Israeli government has ordered mobilization of weapons and troops to the northern part of the enclave as it prepares for more bombardment on the city.
But the Israeli retaliation has called for reactions from across the world. In Nigeria, the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, popularly known as Shiites, have staged protests twice against the attacks on civilians in Gaza.
The Shiites protested after the jumat prayer yesterday. They burnt Israeli and American flag and they called for extermination of Jews. And they waved the Palestinians flag.
According to Al Jazeera, there are other similar protests in Baghdad (Iraq), Amman (Jordan), Jakarta (Indonesia), Islamabad (Pakistan) and others.
The media organisation reports that protesters gathered at the Iraqi capital for protests which an influential Shia leader Muqtada al-Sadr called.
After Friday prayer, about 1,000 Muslims rallied in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to also show solidarity for the Palestinians.
Crisis restarted last Saturday when the Hamas militants used parachutes, bulldozers and some other weapons to attack Israel.
They pulled down the border that separated southern Israel from Gaza and went from house to house to kill hundreds of Israeli citizens.
The armed Palestinians also overran an Israeli military base, held some soldiers and civilians captives in the well-coordinated attack.
