The Whole World Has Forgotten Palestinian in Gaza

Death toll in Gaza, the Palestinian territory has reached 38,000. More are receiving treatment in poorly funded hospitals after they had been seriously injured in the Israeli airstrikes. The world seems to have forgotten the beaten, and perhaps defeated Palestinian people.

Definitely, the resistance group, Hamas started the current hostilities. It’s understandable that the group has no other option but to launch the attacks on 7 October, 2023, the step they must now be regretting because they have had more than they could even bargain.

Online Parrot News will never support any form of violence or use of arms on the poor civilians. The two sides of the conflict are complicit. Hamas shouldn’t have trod that path let alone to start what it won’t finish. At the same time, the Israel’s use of excessive force is condemnable. It’s more worrisome that the whole world which was concerned about the situations in Gaza, in Khan Younis, in Rafah and of course in the (occupied) West Bank has all of a sudden become quiet.

The whole world has forgotten the Palestinian people. Tens of thousands of them have died, and on a daily basis more are dying as a result of bombs, gun wounds, airstrikes, blockade. The people don’t have access to clean water, to good food and even fuel.

The United Nations has passed several resolutions calling for a ceasefire in the restive region, the United States President Joe Biden has also called for an end to the hostilities against the Palestinian people. The United Kingdom, though not bold enough to make own decisions, as well as other European countries can’t help but look.

Unless the world is no longer compassionate, something should be done. The people are seriously dying and need help.
