North Korea leader Kim weeps as he begs women to have children
North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un has been seen in a now viral video weeping as he begged women of his country to have more children.
The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) as it’s officially known is under severe economic and financial sanctions of the United Nations, the United States of America and European Union over its nuclear programme.
This has forced several women to reduce the number of children they have. The economic hardship in the impoverished country discourages them.
Kim was having a meeting with the women and he burst into tears while addressing them in the meeting held in the capital Pyongyang. He appealed to them to have babies citing a decline in birth’s rate of his country.
“Dear Mothers,” Kim Jong-un began, “Preventing a decline in birth rates and good childcare are all housekeeping duties we need to handle while working with mothers.
“These tasks include bringing up their children so that they will steadfastly carry forward our revolution, eliminating the recently-increasing non-socialist practices, promoting family harmony and social unity, establishing a sound way of cultural and moral life, making the communist virtues and traits of helping and leading one another forward prevail over our society, stopping the declining birth rate, and taking good care of children and educating them effectively.
“These belong to our common family affairs, which we need to deal with by joining hands with our mothers.”
