Manchester United compounds Everton’s misfortunes
Eric Ten Hag’s Manchester United has compounded the misfortunes Everton Football Club faces. The Red Devils were away at the Goodison Park on Sunday in the English Premier League match day 13.
Everton was sent to the relegation zone after 10 points were deducted from its tally. The club was accused and found guilty of breaching the finance fair play. With the deduction, Everton was above only another struggling side, Burnley.
Alejandro Garnacho saw the back of the net with just 3 minutes into the game. Portuguese Diogo Dalot provided the assist for the goal, which will of course be a contender for the goal of the season.
Underperforming English and Manchester United player Marcus Rashford converted the penalty from the spot after the Frenchman, Anthony Martial was fouled in the box.
The same Martial, who has been nowhere to be found in the season, sealed the victory over Everton. It would be one of the biggest victory of Eric Ten Hag’s boys so far this season and it returned them to the 6th above the magpies, Newcastle United.
Just 6 points separate Manchester United from the league leaders Arsenal.
