Labour Party & Obi demolish 20 years old structure
Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi have destroyed and demolished an old structure in Nigerian polity. They both held nothing but strategies to shatter the structure.
When the ex Anambra State governor threw his hat into the ring, they taunted him. And when he employed the platform of the Labour Party, they derided him more. They said emphatically that he didn’t have political structure.
He agreed with them in a statement. He also said that his people, the voters are his own structure. And that was a big turnaround. A movement emerged. It is one of the biggest movements ever. It is vibrant, intelligent, aggressive, informative.
The old structure, which started and grew stealthily in 1999 decided to imped the structureless movement of Mr. Peter Obi and Labour Party. Bola Tinubu heads and leads the 20 years old structure.
The campaigns started. The structureless movement used the internet to mobilise their supporters. They used the social media platforms to launch their bids to destroy the aged structure.
It was intense! The followers of the ex Anambra State governor would stop at nothing to make others accept their proposition. And so it came to pass.
Bola Tinubu said he has been nursing his ambition to lead the country for long. Perhaps that’s the main reason he chose to build his own invisible structure ahead of the 2023 general elections. What is now the outcome?
Peter Obi and Labour Party coasted home victory in Lagos state. That could be the biggest prize in the election. They both may lose the presidential election at the end of the day. However, one thing is sacrosanct.
The structure that has been in existence since 1999 or earlier has collapsed. And its collapse isn’t accidental. It doesn’t fall because of any other thing. The Labour Party and Peter Obi along with the movement pushed the structure down.
