Kwara Governor Abdulrasaq Approves Bursary & Scholarship For Students
Kwara Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq has approved immediate payment of bursary and scholarship awards for the state indigenes in territory institutions of learning.
More Nigerian governors are awarding bursary and scholarship to indigent students as the same state governments increase tuition fees in their universites, polytechnics and colleges of education.
The commissioner for education in the state, Mary Arinde revealed the approval on X, formerly known as Twitter on Sunday.
The statement reads in part: “Gov. AbdulRazaq approves payment of Bursary, Scholarship Award for Kwara State Indigene Students in Tertiary Institutions•Application portal opens on Monday
“His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kwara State Malam #RealAARahman CON has given approval for the payment of 2023/2024 Bursary and 2022/2023 Scholarship Award to Kwara State indigenes in Tertiary Institutions owned by State and Federal Government.”
