El-Rufai, Kwakwanso Meet As North Plots Against Tinubu
It’s now crystal clear that the northern region has started preparations for the next general elections. It’s a region so obsessed with power that it would do anything to retain the federal government even though its leadership of the country doesn’t in any way better the welfare of the impoverished people of the region.
Mallam Nasir El-Rufai and Rabiu Kwakwanso have met and they have obviously started working round the clock to make sure that the power return to north.
The former Kano State governor, who was the presidential election of the NNPP in the last general and, went to meet El-Rufai at his residence in Abuja. El-Rufai isn’t a kingmaker. But the recent issue he has with the administration of President Bola Tinubu and his prosecution by the Kaduna State House of Assembly made him an opponent of the APC.
Kwankwaso who shared the picture of himself and El-Rufai on his official X account, wrote: “Pleased to pay a cordial visit to my former colleague, H.E Nasir El-Rufai, at his residence in Abuja today. – RMK.”
Note that the same El-Rufai paid a visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari, who has also received former vice president Alhaji Abubakar Atiku in Duara, Katsina State.
The fact is the northern region can’t afford to wait more. The political elite are assiduously working on the return to the seat of power of the federation.
