Key changes Eguavoen makes in Eagles’ squad against Guinea Bissau

The Super Eagles coach Augustine Eguavoen has made some key changes as the Nigerian team plays against Guinea Bissau this evening.

The Nigerian side has already booked a place in the knockouts of the competition ongoing in Cameroon. Therefore, Augustine Eguavoen introduces new key players.

Eguavoen has decide to bench the Nigerian goalkeeper Maduka Okoye. The Watford player has featured in two matches of the eagles. He kept a clean sheet.

Since the risk is now very low, Uzoho has been introduced to keep the goals against the Guinea Bissau guys, who look forward to beating Super Eagles of Nigeria.

There are key changes in the defence line. Only William Troost Ekong is retained. Kenneth Omeruo has been benched. Collins Awaziem, and Ebuehi have been introduced.

Kelechi Iheanacho’s brother Nwakali is starting along with his elder brother this evening. Ejuke and Everton’s player Alex Iwobi are also starting this evening.

Despite so much complaint on Sadiq Umar, the coach has decided to start him. Hence, Taiwo Awoniyi has been changed.
