Israeli PM Netanyahu Boasts After Victory Over Hamas, Hezbollah and Houthis

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has boasted victory after his country launched some precision attacks on its core enemies in the Middle East including Palestinian Hamas, Lebanese Hezbollah and Yemeni Houthis.

They are members of the Axis of Resistance, which Iran controls. On Tuesday, Palestinian Hamas leader Ismail Haniya was in Tehran, the capital of Iran for the inauguration of the new president of the Persian country. He died in a rocket attack, suspectedly launched by Israel.

Israel has not claimed responsibility for this perhaps considering the sensitive role Haniya plays in the affairs of Hamas.

But in his address, Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel “delivered crushing blows to all of our enemies, Hezbollah, Hamas”.

Likewise, the prime minister talked about the elimination of the second in command of Lebanese Hezbollah, Fuad Shukr. He was the deputy of leader Hassan Nasrallah, and he was accused of orchestrating an attack on Israeli-occupied Golan Heights in which more than 10 people including children died.

“In the strike yesterday, we eliminated Nasrallah’s deputy, he was responsible for the murderous attack on Majdal Shams and one of the most wanted terrorists in the world. We settled the score and we will settle the score with all those who massacre our citizens,” Netanyahu added.

He warned Israeli citizens of “challenging days lie ahead”.

“Since the strike in Beirut there are threats sounding from all directions. We are prepared for any scenario and we will stand united and determined against any threat. Israel will exact a heavy price for any aggression against us from any arena,” Netanyahu said.
