How Power-drunk Federal Lawmaker Apologizes to Bolt Driver
The controversial and power-drunk member of the House of Representatives representing Aba North and South Federal Constituency of Abia State Alex Mascot has apologized for his unruly behavior and dehumanization to the e-hailing driver in Abuja.
The lawmaker was seen in the video threatening and slapping the driver who had come to deliver something to him. The driver refused to enter the building following the policy of delivery services. But Mascot wanted him to bring the package in.

He went on to tell the driver that he (Mascot) could make him disappear and nothing would happen even if the driver knew the Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun..
On the floor of the lower chamber of the National Assembly, the embattled lawmaker tendered his apology saying that he was human and he could make mistakes.
He said: “Mr Speaker, Honourable colleagues, I just want to state once again that I am human even though things were said and those things, I regret.
“I apologise to all Nigerians regardless of the provocation, there should be no reason why I should react in that form. I want to use this opportunity to appeal to all Nigerians, let us let what has happened remain in the past and let us forge forward.”
