Popular actor, Ime Bishop Umoh, who is popularly known as Okon Lagos, has provided candid advice to former president Goodluck Jonathan.
There have been several rumours in circulations that Goodluck Jonathan is being projected to return to power in 2023.
He himself has remained silent over the topic. But his loyalists are making frantic efforts to make sure he returns after Buhari’s administration.
The popular actor said, “Rumours have it that Goodluck is being wooed to run for president again. Abeg, your excellency, as tempting as it may, don’t.”
Specifically, he compared a possible return of Jonathan to substituting for Ronaldo in the extra time of a match.
He explained in his post that it would be impossible for Ronaldo, Manchester United maverick, to change the fortune of a team that is seven goals down.
Okon Lagos pressed further, “Too much damage is done already and there is too little you can do to fix it in just a term. Imagine bringing in Ronaldo in 90 + 2 minute to turn around fortune of a team that is down with seven nil!”
Mr. Jonathan handed over to Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 following his loss in the presidential election.
The actor argued that lots of damage have been done since Jonathan left power. And that a term of four years won’t be enough for Jonathan to clean the mess.
