How Marcus Rashford has rapidly improved.
Marcus Rashford has been a spectacular player since the return from the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup. He was fantastic as well in the competition even though he didn’t have enough playing time as he had to compete for a space.
However, he has since been carrying Manchester United in the English Premier League and other competitions including the FA and the Carabao cup. He even had to come from the bench to rescue maximum three points for the Red Devils against Wolves.
Rashford has been consistent both at the Old Trafford and away games since late December. In fact, Manchester United has had to look up to him for goals. And he has not disappointed the team.
Manchester United were at home last Sunday when they hosted the archival, Manchester City at the Old Trafford. The earlier encounter saw Manchester City flogged and humiliated Man United at Ethiad stadium.
Rashford scored the winner against Manchester City which of course elevated the Red Devils and further boosted the players’ morale which was down when Cristiano Ronaldo was in the team.
Perhaps it might be considered a fluke, Marcus Rashford had to show critics that he has really upped his game as he opened the score sheet against the English Premier League leaders Arsenal at the Emirate stadium.
The Red Devils captain, Bruno Fernandes, clinically gave a pass to the English player, who converted it to a long shot to beat Ramsdale, the Arsenal goalie.
Marcus Rashford has really been fantastic and one of the key players in the Eric Ten Hag’s Manchester United. With his rapid improvement, Manchester United can also look forward to win the much coveted EPL trophy several years after the last one was secured by the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson.
