In an event in Ilesa, one of the big towns in the state, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola anointed Mr. Moshood Adeoti as the candidate of the APC for the 2022 Osun poll.
Mr. Aregbesola, who led the southwest state from 2010 to 2018 talked about how the progressives started in Osun State in 2004 and how they struggled so hard to get to power.
He hinted about the rift between him and his immediate successor, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola. The former governor has not for once denied the several reports about the crisis within the APC in the state.
Even his campaign office in Osogbo came under a serious gun attack about two weeks ago. No life was lost but the attack is a further sign of internal crisis in the state chapter of the APC.
Mr. Aregbesola had now anointed candidate for Osun poll. He has chosen Mr. Moshood Adeoti, his own SSG when he was in power for eight years.
