Ganduje Covertly Warns Tinubu weeks to poll
Kano Governor Umar Ganduje covertly warns Tinubu just few weeks to the 2023 general elections in which the latter is a candidate. The governor has sent a signal and further fuelled the speculations around the elections.
There have been rumours though unverified that cabals in the presidency are collaborating with the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria to sabotage the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has also made a claim related to the sabotage.
The Kaduna state governor specifically said that some people in the presidency are working against Bola Tinubu. The ex Lagos state governor and Muhammadu Buhari belong to the same political party.
Mr. Ganduje talked about the June 12, the election day Nigerians believed to be the best in the country. The democratic process of that time lost its steams when the military president truncated the exercise midway.
He alleged that they are regrouping and using the current fuel and new naira notes to cause crisis so as to undermine democracy in the country.
He has re-echoed the words of Nyesom Wike, Rivers State governor. The vocal politician from south south said that the cabals whose names he didn’t mention were making moves so that the elections would not hold.
Mr. Ganduje said that those who truncated democracy in 1993 are still at work now. Ganduje is working for Bola Tinubu.
