The Nigerian Government has arraigned four suspects connected to the dreaded and notorious bandit, Turji Bello. The kidnapper has held several communities in the northwestern region to ransom and has carried out a number of attacks even on security personnel.
On Monday the suspects including Musa Muhammad Kamarawa, Abubakar Hashimu, also known as Doctor, Samuel Chinedu, and Lucky Chukwuma, were brought before Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in Abuja for arraignment.
The accused are facing trial on crimes bordering on terrorism. The bandit leader Turji Bello himself is still at large. The suspects have been remanded by the court.
