EFCC Operative Kills Self In Abuja
An operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has committed suicide at his residence in Abuja in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The commission has received the news, which has sent shockwaves across the staff of the anti-corruption agency. However, the EFCC is yet to release a statement on the incident.
Mr. Dele Oyewale, a spokesperson of the Commission, said that an investigation is still underway to unravel the circumstances around his death.
His family members have reportedly attributed his decision to take his own life to depression and tragic decision.
