A former PDP chieftain Olisha Metuh has begged Nigerians through his Facebook page for prayers over his failing health. He made some disclosure along with the demand for prayers.
The former vociferous PDP publicity secretary has been battling a series of undisclosed illness since the PDP left power in 2015. He has also faced lots of litigations from the Economic and Financial Crime Commission.
He revealed that in the last one year, he had passed through many surgeries and procedures and he said he believed in God that the current one would be the last.
He therefore begged Nigerians to pray for him. He posted, “No matter how angry you have been about my outspokenness or outright naked challenge to power back then, please pray for me.”
He narrated that it had not been easy for him because “the cankerworm had eaten deeply into my health”.
He accompanied the post with a picture of himself on the hospital bed. He explained that it was God’s mercies that keep him till now.
He told Nigerians that he received some scary pieces of news from his surgeon today. He however didn’t state what the news is all about.
Metuh has complicated health and to worsen his situation, he has cases with the EFCC. He was once seen in the wheelchair in the court.
