The owner of socialite club and top celebrity, Obi Cubana, has reacted to his ordeal with the NDLEA. He is under investigation.
The anti narcotic agency accused him of receiving payments into his account from convicted drug dealers in India, Malaysia and Nigeria.
He denies any involvement in the saga. He told Nigerians that he had made covenant that he would not have anything to do with drugs in his life.
He said, “while growing in life, people must face some challenges, I am facing mine at this moment”.
He granted an interview to media personality, Daddy Freeze. He revealed that he knew that the NDLEA would do a thorough job.
The socialite club proprietor also informed Daddy Freeze that he spent four days in custody in the course of investigation. He said he wasn’t bothered.
However, he found being linked to drugs repulsive. He said he had vowed not be involved in anything related to drugs in his life.
He explained, “It is repulsive because it is something I had made a covenant to never support, invest in or be part of.” He gave reasons for disliking it.
Cubana said that drugs destroy generation, and that his own children might be a victim of drugs. He enjoined the NDLEA to investigate properly.
