Buhari, Tinubu run bad government – Rotimi Amaechi
The immediate past minister of transportation Rotimi Amaechi has taken a swipe on both his boss and employer, Muhammadu Buhari, and his successor Bola Tinubu. He said the two ran or are running bad government.
The former Rivers State governor added that Nigerians would rather commit suicide instead of facing their problems (by challenging the government). Amaechi said he was praying for Nigerians so they could continue to commit.
Level of bad governance has reached its peak since Bola Tinubu took over from Buhari. He immediately removed subsidy and Nigerians can feel the resultant effects. Inflation is soaring while insecurity pervades.
Mr. Amaechi said, “Instead of Nigerians facing their problems, they are committing suicide. I’m praying for you so that you will continue to commit suicide so that one day I’ll wake up and all of you have died. I can now enjoy the benefits of your death by speaking those things.”
He mocked Nigerians that they aren’t moved by the dismaying situations around them. Amaechi, while talking in an event in Ghana, said that the precarious conditions wouldn’t stop the citizens from voting for bad leaders.
He echoed, “Nigerians choose who to believe and not to believe. They chose who to vote and who not to vote. Even if you go to a Nigerian man’s house and kill his mother, the father will continue his life. Nothing borders you. Nothing. So why do I waste my time?”
Nyesom Wike’s predecessor in Rivers State , Amaechi explained that thee is resistance to bad governance in Ghana and Kenya.
He spoke in pigin, “What other people resist in Ghana and Kenya, Nigerians say no worry no be four years, him go go. The man wins the second term by crook or magic, they’ll say no be eight years. No be Goodluck and Buhari don go so? Him go soon go.”
