The Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso 1, has passed on. The royal leader of Ibadan joined his ancestors in the early hours of Sunday, 2 January, 2021.
He was born on 26 August, 1928 and he rose to prominence as the Olubadan of Ibadan on 4 March, 2016 when he was chosen by the former governor, Abiola Ajimobi.
He would clock six years on the throne in March.
