Bomb Blast Occurs in Maiduguri Amidst Hardship Protests
The Borno State Commissioner of Police Yusuf Lawal has reported a deadly bomb blast in the state capital Maiduguri on Friday.
The commissioner said that it was an Improvised Explosive Device resulting in one dead and 11 persons seriously injured in the attack. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Residents of Borno State are also protesting against bad governance and hardship. Online Parrot News had reported that the state government under Babagana Zulum had imposed a curfew on the state.
