The two ace comedians may be close to settling the rift between them.
Both Bright Okpocha (Basketmouth) and Ayo Makun (AY) are at loggerheads over an issue that shouldn’t have ended up being a protracted rift.
Makun had alleged that BasketMouth, who introduced him to comedy, was owing him a sum of N30,000. The latter disagreed and said he didn’t owe his colleage a dime for a performance AY attended.
Basketmouth has also said he would never apologize to his friend. He has now made a U-turn.
He said, “To my guy AY, I don’t know if my apology is still valid right now, but if it is, please forgive me for whatever I have done or said in the past that affected you in any way and I want you to know that I have forgiven you for whatever you said or did, knowingly or unknowingly. I just want peace and harmony”.
