Arsenal’s and Arteta’s struggle for title continues

Arsenal’s and Arteta’s struggle for the English Premier League this season has really been intriguing. The Spaniard has led the team from one that often strives to qualify for the UEFA Champions League to a title contender.

This afternoon the gunners will take on Brighton Hove and Albion in match day 36. The gunners currently sit on number two with just one point separating them and leaders Manchester City.

With 81 points, Arsenal’s and Arteta’s title bid seems to be close to victory. Manchester City still have four games to play including against Everton, which is determined to avoid relegation.

Mike Arteta’s men would face Nottingham Forest in another London derby game. Arsenal has found it much easier this season to beat the London sides including misfiring Chelsea, floppy Tottenham and fluid Crystal Palace. And Arsenal’s and Arteta’s men will end the season by travelling to Wolves.

Manchester City will play Chelsea after Everton at the Ethiad stadium. Although Chelsea has a series of horrible results this season, the blues can stop Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City from lifting the trophy.

If they escape Chelsea, Brighton and Brentford can be a hard nut to crack for the maverick coach and his players.

Arsenal’s and Arteta’s bid can come to fruition this season. The gunners lost their grip to the table when they recorded three straight draws against Liverpool, West Ham United and now relegated Southampton.

Critics have argued that the season would not be a successful one if coach Mike Arteta’s men fail to win the league. Manchester United would have a better one.
