Amidst fuel and new naira scarcity, the candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his campaign team went to Gusau, the capital of Zamfara State today.
Atiku has been going round the country to talk to voters to cast their votes for him on 25 February. The ex vice president landed in the state after a trip to Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.
Meanwhile, thousands of people of the state came out to welcome and listen to the messages of the former vice president of the country.
Atiku assured them that if and when the party and he win the election, education, prosperity, security, agriculture will be enhanced.
Larger parts of northwest region have come under attacks of bandits who kidnap for ransom or kill people who resist. Zamfara State is one of the worst hit states in the region.
Nigerians have been grappling with fuel and new naira scarcity for up to one week now with no end to the issue in sight. Yet thousands still came out for Atiku’s rally in the capital.
