After Chicago Varsity released Tinubu’s records, Atiku’s lawyers start scrutiny
Lawyers to the ex vice president and PDP’s presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar have started work on the records of President Bola Tinubu, which the Chicago State University released yesterday.
Having obtained an order from an American court, the university released the details yesterday after lots of tensions and anxiety. Critics and supporters of the PDP and its presidential candidate have expected so much from the records. Of course, they looked up to the school for discrepancies in the details of the president.
To the dismay of the party, the records so far are in tandem with the ones submitted by Bola Tinubu for the presidency. He claimed to have attended and graduated from the school in 1979. The Chicago Varsity has now confirmed both the studentship and certificate of the president.
The ex vice president needed some information to discredit and seek disqualification of the president. Now his counsel have started looking into the records with a view of finding some errors.
Atiku Abubakar headed to the Supreme Court to appeal the decision of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal. The tribunal decided that the Independent National Electoral Commission followed the due processes and Bola Tinubu won the poll.
