Adeleke extols Buhari over Osun State election
Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke has extolled President Muhammadu Buhari over the recently signed electoral laws.
The state governor, who defeated Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, and sworn in late last year, commended the president for assenting to the bill to make it electoral law.
According to the Vanguard Newspaper, the governor said that the laws have hitherto curtailed ballot box snatching and stuffing. He said he is now a beneficiary of the said law.
President Muhammadu Buhari has vowed that he’s committed to free and fair election in the country. And the Independent National Electoral Commission has come up with innovations and introduced technology including BIVAS in the country’s electoral processes.
The governor was at the state house to appreciate the president over his victory. Mr. Adeleke said, “I am a beneficiary of the new Electoral Law you signed, as it paved the way for free and fair elections, ruling out ballot box snatching and stuffing.”
Adeleke, who is still proving his victory at the tribunal, said that Buhari instructed the security agencies and they followed his instructions. He thereafter called Buhari “a true father”.
“The security agencies followed your instruction to be fair and firm, and I am so proud of you. You are a true father, regardless of political party differences.”
