Former senator from Kaduna State, Mr. Shehu Sani, has tackled Buhari over his message to the Super Eagles of Nigeria. The Nigerian team takes on Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in the round of 16.
The Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari, had urged the Super Eagles to keep on winning. In a statement released on behalf of the president, Buhari said, “The Federal Government is supporting you and I say thank you to all the technical crew and the players”.
The kind gesture of the president didn’t go down well with the former member of the House of Senate.
Shehu Sani posted on his Facebook page, “Now that him don put mouth for Eagles only God fit save them”.
Recall that Anthony Joshua lost his next fight after he had come to visit Buhari. Joshua even went on to prostrate for the president, who hosted him.
