The club went head to head against West Ham United in a very crucial match. It ended up as a victory for the host.
The Ralf Rangnick’s side was at Brentford few days ago to play against Brentford Football Club. The victory from the game elevated Manchester United further closer to the top.
West Ham lost against Leeds United in the midweek game and they needed three points against Manchester United so as to stay at the top. Their focus didn’t come to pass.
The host, Manchester United, had so many chances in both halves of the game but they had to wait till the additional time before the crucial goal could come in.
Marcus Rashford came from the bench to put the ball into the opponent’s net. And with that goal, Manchester United moved to the top four with 38 points from 22 games.
