Cristiano Ronaldo may not feature for Manchester United when they host West Ham in the English Premier League.
The Portuguese may miss the very crucial EPL match as interim coach Ralf Rangnick has provided an update on his fitness.
Ronaldo got a neck injury while appearing for Manchester United on Wednesday against Brentford. He didn’t finish the match.
He looked fine while he was leaving the pitch following his substitution. Updates later show that he had got injured on his neck.
The interim coach said that there is still a question mark on the availability of the Portuguese for the game. He talked to Stewart Gardner about Ronaldo’s injury.
He told the reporter, “we will have to wait to see how he feels today.” He explained that Ronaldo had received some treatment.
The Portuguese international, who had played for the English club as a youngster, was not happy when he was substituted.
Manchester United need to win the match against West Ham so as to keep alive the hope of reaching the top four this season.
The club is still lagging behind the likes of local rivals Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and West Ham.
