The Manchester United interim coach Ralf Rangnick has provided information about the fitness of Cristiano Ronaldo for the game against West Ham.
The Red Devils will face the hammers in another English Premier League match. Manchester United were able to defeat the hammers in the first leg played several weeks ago.
Manchester United will be at home to host the London club. But it is not certain yet whether Ronaldo, who wears number 7 jersey, will be available for the match or not.
He had sustained a neck injury in the Wednesday’s match at Brentford. The visitors, Manchester United won the match. But the victory came with a cost.
Rangnick said Ronaldo’s fitness would be a question mark “because he has a problem with his neck,” the interim manager told Stewart Gardner of the MUTV.
Rangnick explained that Ronaldo had received treatment and the club “will have to wait to see how he feels today.”
Ronaldo joined his old club this season having spent some years at Juventus. He had tremendously helped the club. However, the Red Devils don’t seem to get things right this season.
The Portuguese was apparently angry when he was substituted in the last English Premier League in Brentford.
