The Nigerian Army has described the bandit leader in northwestern region, Bello Turji, as a coward because he had abandoned his soldiers while he himself is fleeing.
The Nigerian troop has already dealt seriously with the camp of the terrorists including killing his son. The army as well as the defence headquarters said it’s determined to bring down the bandit leader.
While describing him as a bandit, General Opurum Timothy, the Commander of 1 Division, in an event held at 1 Brigade Cantonment in Gusau, Zamfara State, announced that the troops have cleared many of the terrorists and that the fight would be sustained.
“Turji is a coward and has abandoned his foot soldiers due to the pressure we’ve mounted on him. We have cleared many of them and will sustain the momentum by taking the fight directly to their strongholds,” he assured.
