The sacked secretary to the government of Kano State Abdullahi Baffa Bichi has said that he has evidence (documents and videos) which he can release to expose the atrocities and corrupt practices of the state governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and his benefactor Rabiu Kwankwaso.
Bichi had fallen out of favour of the governor andhe was sacked late 2024. It was at a time that rumours were spreading that the governor would break away from the group loyal to Kwankwaso. Kwankwasiyya was used to move Yusuf to the seat using the platform of the NNPP.
The former SSG said that unless both Yusuf and Kwankwaso correct their errors, he would release the incriminating evidence against them.
I’m happy that I have finished my tenure in peace. As you know, this is not the best time to talk, but at the appropriate time we will expose them so that people will understand the kind of people they are,” Mr Bichi said.
“They are not trustworthy people… They’re very deceptive. They don’t know anything except treachery and betrayal. They are not people to be trusted,” he said.
“We have documented everything from written to audio and video evidence,” he added.
