Nigerian Army have arrested a woman who is supplying arms and ammunition to the wanted terrorist and kidnapper Bello Turji.
The Sector 2 Joint Task Force in North West arrested Shamsiyya Ahadu, 25, during an operation tagged Fansan Yamma along with one other person, an accomplice. The Sector made this known on Sunday in a statement. The army said that she is suspected of serving as ammunition courier for criminals in the region.
She was found in possession of 764 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition and six magazines meant to be delivered to the camp of wanted terrorist kingpin Bello Turji.
“In response to the development, troops of Operation Fansan Yamma promptly established a roadblock leading to the apprehension of the suspects.
“Both suspects are currently undergoing investigation by appropriate authorities,” the statement added.
