The Chairman of Dangote Company and owner of Dangote Refinery ha revealed that the price of petrol will further crash on Monday. Most of the filling stations are selling either a little above N1,000 or below the amount. Aliko Dangote said that on Monday the price would be lower.
Online Parrot News reported on Saturday that a particular MRS Filling Station at popular Iwo Road roundabout in Ibadan sold petrol for N980 per litre. Several residents of the capital city and Lagos also said that they were buying the commodity at that price.
Dangote said, “This price has already commenced in Lagos, and it will be offered nationwide from Monday. The Dangote Refinery is for the benefit of Nigeria and Nigerians. We will therefore continue to work with various value chain players to deliver high quality petrol at cheaper prices.”
