The Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has boasted that the Syrian youths would take back their country from whom he called terrorists..he said that he has no doubt that it would happen eventually.
Last Sunday, after less than two weeks of efforts, the rebels from across the Middle East country fought their ways to major cities including Aleppo, Homs and hijacked power in Damascus, the Syrian capital from President Bashar al-Assad.
Millions of Syrians both in the country and abroad have celebrated the fall of Assad, who spent 24 years in power. His Alawite family had been in power for 5 decades.
Online Parrot News reported that Iran has provided supports to Syria’s al-Assad to stand the test of time. He has been facing upheavals for thirteen years as his country was embroiled in a civil war.
Iran couldn’t mobilize forces for Syria because of a warning from Israel that it would shot down any civilian planes from Tehran.
In a series of tweet, the Supreme Leader, who has vowed repeatedly to obliterate Israel said, “The territories that have been seized in Syria will be liberated by the brave Syrian youth. Have no doubts that this will happen.
“Each of those attackers in Syria have different goals. Some are seeking to occupy land. The US aims to strengthen its foothold in the region. Time will show that none of them will achieve these goals.
“Resistance means standing firmly in opposition to the US domination and any other domineering power.”
