I’ll Give Women 35% in My Govt – Ondo PDP Candidate Ajayi
Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Ondo State Agboola Ajayi has assured women of his commitment to uplift them if he wins the election.
Mr. Ajayi, who was a deputy governor when the late Rotimi Akeredolu was in power said that he would give women 35 percent in his government hence running what he called inclusion in government.
He revealed this on X, formerly known as Twitter on Thursday. The candidate, who will slug it out with APC candidate Lucky Aiyedatiwa, said, “I Will Ensure Implementation of 35 Percent Women Inclusion in Govt-
“I promise to ensure 35 percent of our women are given appointments if elected in the November 16 governorship election in the state.
“I will make sure I turn around the fortune of women and empower them financially when elected as governor in the off-circle election.”
