Go and Hug Transformers if You’re Angry I work for Tinubu –
Mr. Nyesom Wike, the minister of Federal Capital Territory, has slammed his critics asking them to go and hug transformers if they are uncomfortable with his working for the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
Wike, the immediate past governor of Rivers State, sparked reactions when he picked up an appointment in the cabinet of the president, who used the platform of the All Progressives Congress to ascend to power.
Wike is still claiming to be a member and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He said he wouldn’t allow anyone to hijack the structure of the political party in the state from him. He was obviously referring to the move being made by the PDP governors to make incumbent Governor Simi Fubara the leader of the PDP in Rivers State.
The controversial minister said that he’s fully in the government and that he has no regrets being there.
He said, “We are fully in government. We are fully in Tinubu’s government. I have no regrets about it, and I will continue to be there. Anybody who is angry should go and hug a transformer.”
