PDP Is Dead, It Existed Only in the Past – Senator Melaye
A former member of the Senate Dino Melaye hs claimed that the main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is dead and that it existed only in the past.
Mr. Melaye was the flag bearer of the PDP in just some months ago in the Kogi State governorship election. He came third behind the winner Usman Ododo (APC) and Muritala Ajaka (SDP) in one of the most woeful performances of the PDP in an election.
The outspoken and flashy politician posted on his Facebook page to announce the demise of his party. He accused the acting national leaders of the party including Damagun, Bature and Anyanwu to be behind the destruction of the party.
He added that the party has been privatized and commercialized. Therefore, according to the Kogi politician, the PDP lived in the past.
Melaye said, “End of the road for PDP as Damagun, Bature and Anyanwu irredeemably destroyed the party. We will talk about the commercialisation and privatisation of PDP. PDP is now once upon a time.”
