Zamfara Denies Appointing Ex Matawalle’s Aide Wanted for Treason & Gun Running
The Zamfara State Government through the office of the Secretary to the State Government has denied employing one Bashir Hadejia, who is wanted for crims including treason and gun running.
Online Parrot News had cited a copy of the employment letter, which the secretary to the government, Mallam Abubakar Nakwada signed. Hadejia was appointed as a Technical Adviser on mining to the governor, Dauda Lawal.
The letter as well as the appointment was dated 27th October, 2023. But the same government has denied offering an appointment to the wanted citizen of Zamfara, who used to be an aide to Mr. Bello Matawalle, the minister of state for defence.
The government accused “mischief makers” for being behind the fake letter of employment in circulation. It said that the governor didn’t offer any appointment to Bashir Hadejia
